MEIKODO sells a technique not a products

Meikodo manufactures what customers need.
Meikodo's strength lies in designing and manufacturing machines for manufacturing.

We pride ourselves on creating something completely new and not existing and sending it out into the world.

When the yen was strong in 1985, Meikodo applied the needle manufacturing business and made a major transformation by entering the fields of precision parts and electric parts, weak electrical parts. The company's many achievements have earned it a top-class reputation both in Japan and overseas.
To date, Meikodo has completed more than 400 machines. We design and manufacture all of the processing machines in our production line in an integrated manner. The price of the product is lowered by the fact that the purchase cost of the machine is not turned on to the cost. In addition, since it is an original machine, it has the advantage of being more applicable than the manufacturer's general-purpose machines.

Needle Processing

This is Meikodo's core competence in needle-making technology. Headed needles are manufactured differently from headless needles. Headed needles are processed by a single automatic pin making machine, while headless needles have separate processes for straight-line cutting and pointed processes.

Wire and Metal Processing

Based on needle manufacturing technology, we have developed wire and metal processing technology. We are researching various processing areas such as bending and crushing of wire materials and metal pressing. In addition, we also clean those wire metal products in-house.

Molding

We manufacture not only molded products that consist only of resin, such as heads of marking pins, cases, and clips, but also insert molded products that incorporate wire metal processing. We are able to develop new products quickly because we do it in-house from the design of the molds.

Design development of the machine

We design and assemble the machines used for needle making and wire metal processing in-house. By developing dedicated machines to make the products that our customers need, we are able to make the products with the most desired specifications and shorten the start-up and delivery times.
